The Emu Ink School’s Publishing Programme is an online course for primary school pupils, which turns them into real published authors. The programme itself is a series of step-by-step lessons (three lessons and two exercises per week), which classes/schools of any number can partake in at a time that suits them, during their chosen term. The lessons include inside focus on idea generation, character development, plots, dialogue, descriptions and editing – to name a few. Each participating class can log on in their own time and in their own classroom. At the end of the course, each student will have produced an individual short story that will be published as part of an anthology.
