Calling all Hardware & TravelTech startups – apply now for Welcome’s Cross Border Mentorship Week
DCU Ryan Academy is offering four top early stage startups an amazing opportunity to work with the best mentors in the fields of hardware and traveltech and accelerate your business to the next level.
Joining 12 international startups from Germany, Italy and Spain, over 1 intensive week, (Monday 11th – Friday 15th April 2016), we will enable you to get to the core of your business and build your future strategy

When: The programme is delivered from Monday 11th – Friday 15th April. Full attendance is required.

16 startups from 4 countries will gather in Dublin for a 1 week immersion programme during which you will have access to top mentors and corporates and receive valuable advice to help grow your startup.
We are running 2 separate calls for this programme:
- Hardware: All startups operating in the hardware space are welcome to apply: from wearable to 3D Printing, from IoT to digital manufacturing and much more… If your startup mixes hardware & innovation, apply now!
- TravelTech: You might be building a social platform that helps users pick a restaurant with their friends, a seat pricing algorithm that increases an airline’s profitability, an augmented reality app that raises a visitor’s enjoyment of a city, a network analysis tool that introduces conference attendees to each other, or any one of a million other innovations. If your startup is in the TravelTech space, apply now!
DCU Ryan Academy will be selecting 2 startups through each call to take part in the programme.
These 4 startups will be joined in Dublin by others from Berlin, Milan and Madrid & Salamanca to work together for 1 intensive week designed to grow your network and boost your startup.
There is no cost to taking part in the programme – all costs are covered by the Welcome Project.
WELCOME is a project developed under the Startup Europe Initiative and funded by the EU Commission, enabling tech entrepreneurs to grow their business across borders and to get access to the right combination of funding.
To achieve this goal WELCOME lays bridges for startups from four vibrant EU ecosystems — Berlin, Dublin, Milan, Madrid & Salamanca — by connecting them to the key players in each environment.
